Haiku

Haiku is a gentle 4-year-old Hound mix, though we suspect he may have some Dachshund in him given his petite stature. He came to us from Oklahoma and is looking for a patient and loving home where he can decompress and simply be a dog. Haiku enjoys the company of other dogs but can be a bit timid when things move too quickly. With gentle encouragement and the guidance of canine friends, he's sure to blossom!

Ideal Home

Haiku would thrive in a home that understands his need for time to adjust. He enjoys other dogs and would likely do well with a calm canine companion to show him the ropes.

Ongoing Health

Haiku is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Haiku needs a patient family willing to teach him the ways of a home environment. He is still learning and will benefit from positive reinforcement and gentle guidance, especially when it comes to building confidence with new experiences.
