Meet Laney — a 1-year-old English Bulldog with the squishiest face, the sweetest soul, and a heart full of love. Laney came to rescue after being surrendered by a commercial breeder due to a low-grade heart murmur, but this happy girl doesn’t let anything slow her down. She’s discovering how wonderful life as a beloved pet can be, and every day is a new adventure. Toys? Obsessed. Fetch? She’s learning and loving it. Playing with her foster brother Merle? Absolute favorite activity. The resident grumpy cat? Laney couldn’t care less. Like any true bulldog, Laney takes her naps very seriously. She spends most of the day snoozing in hilarious positions, usually with her tongue sticking out just enough to make you laugh. But when she’s awake, it’s full-speed bulldog zoomies with zero hesitation. She’s playful, curious, delightfully clumsy like a baby panda, and surprisingly fast when the mood strikes. Underneath all the silliness is an incredibly affectionate girl who just wants to be near her people. Whether she’s curled up beside you on the couch or following you around the house, Laney is happiest soaking up love and attention.

Laney is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping her blossom. She is dog friendly, kid friendly, and cat friendly with dog-savvy cats.

Laney has a low-grade heart murmur, but it doesn't slow her down. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Laney is crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps through the night. She continues to learn more each day about what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family.
