Hello, I’m Hazel, a playful and sweet American Bulldog mix with a white and tan coat and a big smile! I love to have fun and cuddle with my people, and I'm house and crate trained. Walks are one of my favorite activities, though I get so excited I can pull hard, so I need an owner who can handle me and teach me some manners.
I’m good with other dogs, especially mellow ones. We don’t know how I feel about cats, but I can be cat-tested if you'd like. I have a lot of energy and enjoy running around and playing with balls. Because of my size, any kids in the home would have to be older (over 10). I also like to relax and nap in my own space, and I have a large kennel where I feel comfortable and safe. I don’t like to be outdoors for too long and prefer to be inside with my people. I’m afraid of being abandoned, so I don’t like to go far from home or my people.
Ideal Home
A home where an adopter is used to large dogs, and understands my need for security and companionship. Children in the home should be over 10 years old. I do not like being outdoors for extended periods and prefer to be inside with my people.
Ongoing Health
I have some digestive issues, so I need a special diet of lamb and rice. I am spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
Training & Support
I need to be crated when I’m not supervised, as I can chew on things. I’m working on leash manners to help with my pulling on walks.
