Truman is a sweet 10-year-old gentleman who enjoys a good nap about 85% of the time. But don't let his senior status fool you – the other 15% of his day is filled with playful energy! He's a toy fanatic and would much rather chase a ball or squeak a plushie than accept a treat. Truman loves to play fetch, lounge in your lap on a sunny day, and keep an eye on the birds outside. He's a social butterfly on our volunteer walks, greeting everyone with a charming smile and a toy in his mouth, showcasing his adorable strut.

Sadly, Truman has been surrendered twice before finding his way to us. He's learned that the staff here at RAR are his biggest supporters, and now he patiently waits for his forever family to welcome him home.

Ideal Home

Truman would thrive as the only dog in the home, as he's dog-tolerant but prefers his own space for playtime. He should not be placed in a home with cats or young children, as his playful exuberance might be a bit too much for them.

Truman is currently healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Truman is a social boy who enjoys walks and interacting with people. With patience and understanding, he'll make a wonderful companion.
