Emmy is a calm and intelligent Labrador mix who makes wonderful, steady companionship. She has a gentle personality and enjoys being by your side, whether at home or on the road. She is sociable, though she can be a little nervous, especially around people she does not know at first. With patience and gentle introductions, she relaxes and shows her sweet, trusting nature. Emmy enjoys car rides and travels calmly, taking in the journey at her own peaceful pace. She is very tranquil, thoughtful, and attentive, making her a lovely companion for a family or individual looking for a loyal friend. Emmy was rescued along with her four siblings after being born underneath a house in ruins during freezing weather. They were in serious danger, but thanks to rescue and care, Emmy survived and grew into the beautiful dog she is today.

Ongoing Health
Emmy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines. She has also been dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. She comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Emmy is not house-trained. The rescue team notes that they are unable to house-train every pet due to the sheer number of animals in their care. They emphasize their commitment to the rehabilitation of rescued pets, which involves significant investment in their health, emotions, and overall well-being.

Transportation
Emmy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for transport to the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest. A transport fee of $400.00 will be paid by the adopter prior to the pet's departure.
