Joe (Bonded with Hannah)

Meet Joe, a handsome hound mix who is approximately 10 years old and is bonded with Hannah. These two lovebirds came to us from Kauai, and they are looking for a very special family to welcome them home. Hannah and Joe are a package deal, and with Joe by her side, Hannah blossoms, becoming more confident and adventurous. They both enjoy walks, hikes, snuggling on the couch, and playing in the yard.

Ideal Home

We are seeking a patient and loving home that can provide the time and space these two special dogs need to settle in. An ideal home will have a securely fenced yard with at least a 4-foot fence, two adult humans, and a peaceful environment with low foot traffic. While children are okay, those over 12 years old would be best to help maintain a calm atmosphere for Hannah, who can be skittish, and Joe, who is strong.

Ongoing Health

Joe was heartworm positive upon arrival but has successfully completed his treatment and is now in good health.

Training & Support

Joe is not house-trained, so continued training in this area will be essential. Patience and understanding will be key as these two adjust to their new surroundings.
