POTATO

Meet POTATO! This handsome 1.5-year-old German Shepherd Dog / Husky mix is about 55 pounds of pure leadership potential. Potato had a rough start in life and was rescued by a private resident. He's a sweet boy who is loving and friendly, though he can be a bit shy at first. With calm movements and quiet voices, he'll warm up to you and show you his true, affectionate nature. He's a fast learner who is eager to please and enjoys continuing his training with a dedicated leader. Potato loves his trail walks and is curious, smart, and would be the perfect adventure buddy! He also enjoys car rides and keeps a tidy kennel, often found lounging in an open crate with his favorite chew bone.

Ideal Home

Potato would be best suited for an active, outdoorsy family or individual. He is dog-social and enjoys playing with other dogs. Due to his strong prey drive, cats, small animals, and fowl are a definite no. A secure, fenced yard is required to ensure his safety and happiness. While children are unknown, he would do best with kids aged 13 and older who are kind and dog-savvy. German Shepherd Dog experience is required.

Ongoing Health

All dogs from our rescue come up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Potato is learning leash manners and basic commands and is looking for a leader to continue his training. He is a fast learner and eager to please.

Potato is located at our rescue facility and transport may be available within certain areas.
