Meet Wolfie! This handsome fellow is about a year old and weighs 63 lbs. Wolfie is a very people-friendly dog who has shown no issues with cats or other dogs. He absolutely loves children and is described as a big baby who soaks up all the kisses, hugs, and snuggles he can get. He's also gentle when taking treats, even high-value ones! Wolfie is a smart cookie who knows how to sit on command without any prior training and is very attuned to communication. He has a unique, gorgeous look that resembles a coyote. While we haven't had the opportunity to see it, we imagine he could be brave and protective.

Ideal Home

Wolfie would do well with an active family or an individual or couple who enjoys activities like hiking. He's looking for someone eager to engage with him and understands that he isn't thrilled about being confined, as he loves life and enjoys walks and adventures.

Ongoing Health

Wolfie has no known health concerns.

Training & Support

Wolfie has spent a good portion of his life in a kennel, so he'll need some time to adjust to living in a house. We believe with consistent structure, he will learn quickly. He keeps his kennel clean and is not messy, suggesting he'll be a quick study for house-training. He walks well on a leash, initially excited to explore but will follow instructions and doesn't pull much once he's had a chance to sniff around. He's also well-behaved in the car.
