About Sterling Bear the Certified Lover Boy

Sterling Bear is a handsome, 2-year-old gentleman with a heart of gold, believed to be a Lab mix and weighing around 72 lbs. He's the epitome of a dream dog for any Lab lover – calm, steady, and incredibly easygoing. Sterling isn't about chaotic puppy energy; he's a perfectly balanced companion who knows when to go for a walk, when to play, and when to snuggle up on the couch. He has wonderful house manners, is respectful, and carries himself with the politeness of a true gentleman. He's a no-nonsense, no-drama kind of dog, offering solid, dependable, good-boy energy. Sterling is treat-motivated, knows basic commands like "sit," and is already crate and potty trained. He's the ideal blend of adventure buddy and snuggly pal.

Ideal Home

Sterling loves being outdoors and would be thrilled to have a nice, big backyard to roam, chase squirrels, and relax in the sun. While we haven't seen him with children yet, based on his temperament, we believe he would make a wonderful family dog.

Ongoing Health

As a rescue, Sterling Bear's exact breed and age are a mystery, and we cannot guarantee them. He is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and has been spayed/neutered. He receives flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Sterling is very dog-friendly and has enjoyed introductions with other dogs, particularly those with a happy-go-lucky personality who enjoy playtime but also know when to take a break. He appreciates playmates who aren't overly pushy. If you don't have other dogs, Sterling is perfectly content being the center of your attention and loves all his people. He's already crate and potty trained and knows basic commands.
