Hi, I'm Zoe, but you can call me Dottie! I'm a sweet 5-year-old girl, weighing around 36lbs, with a charming mix of Beagle, Boxer, and Great Pyrenees. I've lived in a home my whole life and I'm already house-trained and know how to use a doggy door – unlimited yard access, please! My most favorite thing in the world is being with my people. I absolutely love to snuggle, especially during thunderstorms, which can be a bit scary for me. To help with my anxiety, I take Trazadone twice a day, and I do have mild separation anxiety. Because of this, I would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. When my people are home, I'm a calm and good girl!
Ideal Home
I'd love a home with people who are around most of the time, as I do get a little anxious when left alone. I'm great with other dogs, especially males, and I'm very loving and playful with my doggy siblings. I'm also cat-friendly, so feline friends are welcome! I've done wonderfully with teens and adults, but I haven't met any babies or small children yet. While I can be a little shy at first, once I warm up, I'm a cuddle bug! I enjoy walks and short adventures, so a large yard isn't a must if you like to explore.
Ongoing Health
I take Trazadone twice daily to help manage my anxiety and mild separation anxiety. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for their age.
Training & Support
I am house-trained and know how to use a doggy door. I'm also crate-trained but don't particularly enjoy it. When I'm excited and playing, I can be a bit vocal to let everyone know how much fun I'm having!
