Toffee

Toffee is a sweet 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, with eyes that could melt your heart and a soul full of affection. We believe she might be a Vizsla mix. She's a happy and playful girl at home, loving to romp with other dogs before snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. Toffee is friendly with both dogs and cats, is house and crate trained, and truly blossoms in a stable environment with a predictable routine.

Ideal Home

Toffee would thrive with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog who can be a role model. She needs a patient and understanding family dedicated to continuing to build her confidence. A home with children aged 10 and older who are dog-savvy would be ideal. Toffee can be uncomfortable around small dogs and puppies, so a home without them is preferred. She is also not suited for a home with an infant or toddler.

Ongoing Health

Toffee experiences some drooling during car rides, but she recovers quickly once at her destination.

Training & Support

While Toffee has made great strides in her confidence, she can be a bit timid in new environments. Patience, encouragement, and a gentle approach will be key as she continues to explore the world. She has also undergone desensitization for car rides and now willingly gets in, understanding that the car leads to adventures.

Toffee is currently fostered in Evans, GA. We have a transport program available.
