Jasper is a soulful three-and-a-half-year-old Border Collie/Rottweiler mix with a stunning merle coat and a calm, loving heart. This 70-pound gentle giant is the kind of dog who will melt into your side on a cozy evening and follow you room to room just to be close. Jasper is food-motivated and clever, knowing commands like sit, stay, paw, spin, and middle! He's fully house-trained, crate-trained, and perfectly content when left alone. While Jasper doesn't require intense exercise, he does enjoy slow, sniffy walks where he can take in the world at his own pace. His favorite pastime is simply being in the same room as you, soaking up your presence!
Ideal Home
Jasper thrives in peaceful surroundings and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. He does well around children and enjoys their company, but he would do best with calm or older kids who understand boundaries and know how to treat him gently. Loud or high-energy play can make him uneasy, so a respectful home environment will help him feel safe and content. He is happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard and a caregiver who values companionship, consistency, and quiet. Loud noises can startle him, but with reassurance, he settles easily.
