Meet Gorgeous Atlas!
This sweet boy was born to his stray mama on November 14, 2024, in a tough neighborhood in Texas. While residents did their best to care for Atlas and his siblings, they eventually brought them to us for a better chance at life. Atlas and his brother Grayson are the last of their litter and group of rescues to find loving homes, and we can't understand why! They are both beautiful, super smart, affectionate, happy, and healthy.
Atlas and his brother have spent the last few months in a foster home, where they've enjoyed playing in the yard, with toys, napping in the sun and by the fireplace, and cuddling with their foster mom. Atlas is incredibly smart and food-motivated, making him a quick learner for any training. He's a curious and goofy pup, just like his mama, and is very gentle, playful, and a truly sweet boy. Atlas is house-trained, weighs about 65lbs, knows basic commands, and sleeps through the night. He's a gem of a dog and will be a wonderful addition to any family. While he would love to be adopted with his brother Grayson, it's not a requirement. We're confident he'll bond with another dog in his new home with a slow introduction and will surely bond with his new humans! He has loved his foster siblings – a 100lb Lab, a 30lb Beagle mix, and a 70lb Pittie – and is submissive to them all, just wanting to play and shower them with love. While breed guesses are always tricky in rescue, Atlas is 100% adorable!
Ideal Home
Atlas would thrive in a home that can provide him with love, play, and continued training. He has done well with other dogs of various sizes in his foster home and is eager to bond with his new family.
Ongoing Health
Atlas is a healthy boy, and his adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, rabies vaccine, microchip, deworming, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Atlas is 100% house-trained and knows basic commands. His food motivation will make any further training a breeze. He is a curious and playful pup who loves to learn.
