Training & Support
Jimmy is still working on his leash manners, as he can pull when excited and is very curious about his surroundings. He is food and praise motivated and eager to learn, so with consistency and some solo walks, he'll continue to improve quickly. Crate training is a work in progress, but he's making great strides. He is fully house-trained with only minor early adjustment issues. While he doesn't exhibit resource guarding, he does think every toy is the best toy. He can be left alone for moderate periods (4-6 hours), especially with another dog. He has not been tested with cats, but at this stage, he would likely chase them. He is friendly and social with older children and would likely do well with respectful kids, but may be too enthusiastic for very young children without supervision.
