Ace 7.6 lbs

Meet Ace! This handsome apricot and white purebred mini poodle was born on December 30, 2025, and currently weighs 7.6 lbs. Ace's mom was 15 lbs and his dad was 12 lbs, so he's expected to be in that range as an adult. He was released from a breeder because he was an older, unsold puppy and is now looking for his forever home. Ace is a friendly guy who can be a little shy in new situations, but he warms up quickly. He loves other dogs, and would likely be fine with cats and children too. Ace is a professional lap-sitter, enjoying hours of TV time, but you'll need to help him get to the couch! He's crate trained and doggy door trained, though he hasn't had much leash experience, so a soft-coated harness might be best.

Ideal Home

Ace would thrive in a home that can offer him companionship and a gentle introduction to new experiences. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is good with cats and children.

Ongoing Health

Ace has been vet checked and is up-to-date on vaccinations (Parvo, Distemper, Rabies). He has been neutered, fecal tested and is clear, has been Frontlined, and will go home with 30 days of heartworm prevention. All vet paperwork will be provided.

Training & Support

Ace is crate trained and doggy door trained. He may need some time to get used to walking on a leash.

Transportation

Ace is located in Antwerp, Ohio, and approved families are welcome to visit him there. Transportation is available every other Wednesday morning to Maumee.
