Xena aka Rachel

Xena, a sweet and smart 2-year-old, 68-pound Labrador Retriever mix, is looking for an active family to call her own! She was previously adopted as a puppy but was returned because she did not get along with the resident cat after a new dog was introduced. Xena is affectionate, kid-friendly, and good with other dogs. She keeps a clean kennel and has never destroyed her bed, showing her responsible nature.

Ideal Home

Xena would thrive in an active home with plenty of room to run. She needs a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Xena is spayed and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Xena does pull a bit on the leash, but with consistency and continued training, she is sure to master it. She is extremely willing to learn and takes corrections very well, meaning she could learn anything taught to her very quickly. She has experience at events and does well around all people and other dogs.
