Poppy

Poppy is a smart, friendly, and outgoing Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who is looking for her perfect forever home! Poppy is part of our SPOTLIGHT PROGRAM, meaning she's currently with her owners and we are assisting in her rehoming. We've met Poppy and can attest to her wonderful personality. She's generally well-behaved and has completed training.

Poppy absolutely adores other dogs and thrives in social settings, as evidenced by her enjoyment of doggy daycare where she plays well with everyone. She's a relatively high-energy pup who needs plenty of exercise and engagement to be her happiest self. Poppy has some anxiety that is being managed with medication. It's believed that having a canine companion in her home would significantly improve her well-being.

Ideal Home

Poppy needs a home with at least one other dog who enjoys playing actively.

Poppy is currently being treated for anxiety with a mood stabilizer.

Poppy is crate trained and housebroken. She loves to play and needs an active lifestyle.
