Roxie

My name is Roxie, and I'm a gorgeous 2-3 year old female German Shepherd looking for my forever family! My puppies and I were in a tough situation before coming to IDGSR, but now we're all healthy and ready for loving homes. I love being active – running in the yard, playing, and going on outings. I also really enjoy cuddling up next to my foster mom. I'm a friendly, smart, curious, and energetic girl who would love an active person or family to go on adventures with.

Ideal Home

I would love an active home where I can go on walks, hikes, runs, and play in the yard. I'm looking for a home with teenage or adult humans, and I do well with large male dogs. However, I cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives. I have also been spayed.

Training & Support

I am working on house and crate training, and I'm making good progress, but patience is appreciated as I continue to learn. I need full obedience training, including commands like sit, stay, come, down, place, leash walking, and polite greetings. I'm very food motivated, so training together should be a breeze – cheese and hot dogs work wonders!

I am currently being fostered in Tennessee and am available for transport to the east coast. A transport fee will apply.
