Meet Rufus, a charming 2-year-old Cockapoo/Shih Tzu mix weighing around 22lbs. He's a smart, sweet, and incredibly affectionate boy with a personality that shines! Rufus was found as a stray, a little scruffy but with a tail that never stopped wagging, even then. Now, all cleaned up and safe, he's a joyful pup eager to give and receive love. His "pick me up" size is perfect, and he absolutely adores belly rubs! Rufus is a dream on leash, knows "sit," and is a quick learner who truly wants to be a good boy. He's crate and house trained when kept on a schedule and always comes when called.

Ideal Home

Rufus thrives with other dogs and would love a canine playmate, but he'd also be happy as an only dog with active humans. Due to his high energy and enthusiasm, he'd do best in a home without children under the age of 10.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is fully vetted and ready for his forever home. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rufus is house-trained and crate-trained with a consistent schedule. He's eager to learn and quick to pick things up, but might need a little time to adjust and settle into his new family.
