He thrives on structure, enrichment, and consistency, and he’s always ready to learn when given clear direction.
Sadly, at just one year old, Hugo was surrendered and labeled "too crazy." In reality, he was simply a vibrant young pup full of life who needed guidance. Now more mature, Hugo is searching for a loving family who will teach him the ropes of being a well-behaved house dog and provide the stability he missed in his formative years. With patience, plenty of opportunities for his energy to be spent, and lots of water-filled fun, Hugo is sure to blossom into an incredibly loyal, joyful, and adventurous companion. He's ready for his second chance at a forever home filled with love and happy splashes!

Transporation
Hugo is currently located in Angleton, Texas, but he can be transported to adopters in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, TN & KY, IL, IN, WA, & OH. Custom transports are available, and our Adoption Coordinator will help you find the nearest pick-up location. Transportation fees range from $150-$500, and picking up at our Angleton, TX location is $75. This fee includes all vetting, collar, and a lifetime of love!
