About Whiskey

Meet Whiskey!

This big-hearted boy is ready to find his forever family. He was adopted as a little puppy and is now being returned through no fault of his own. Whiskey is the ultimate playmate for an active family. He has energy for days and a true passion for life! His absolute favorite pastime is chasing tennis balls and he will happily play with you or romp around with other dogs for hours on end. Whiskey loves long walks on his harness and is great on the move, though he does get highly excited at times and will try to pull when he sees something interesting! Whiskey has a naturally high prey drive and loves to chase anything fast-moving. Because of this, he would thrive best in a home without cats or small animals. One of Whiskey’s most endearing quirks is his love for ice cubes; he loves chasing them across the floor before crunching down on his favorite chilly snack. Once playtime is over, Whiskey flips a switch and adores bundling up right beside his people on the couch, completely tucked under the blankets.

Ideal Home

Whiskey would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his energy and playtime. He would do best in a home without cats or small animals due to his prey drive.

Ongoing Health

Training & Support

Whiskey is house and crate trained and will use a pee pad if needed. He tends to guard his food and toys, so he needs a patient family who can provide him with a safe, separate space to eat. Whiskey can be scared by large thunderstorms and loud vehicles and will look to his people for comfort.
