Ruby - hound litter of 9

Meet Ruby! She's a delightful 15-week-old (as of July 6, 2026) hound mix, weighing in at about 20 pounds. Ruby is part of an adorable litter of nine puppies who were unfortunately surrendered to a high-kill shelter at just six weeks old. While their mama was kept, her pups were discarded. We're hoping mama will be spayed soon to prevent this from happening again. Ruby is currently being fostered in the south and is dreaming of a freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet her future family! Like her siblings, Ruby is brimming with puppy energy, curiosity, and undeniable cuteness. She's a super friendly girl who absolutely loves meeting new people and can be found splashing around in a kiddie pool with her doggie and human pals.

Ideal Home

Ruby would love a home with a fenced-in yard where she can run and play to her heart's content as she grows.

Ongoing Health

Ruby is up-to-date on all her puppy vaccinations. She will need to be spayed when she reaches the appropriate age.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Ruby will need patience and consistency as she continues to learn house training.
