She's a quick learner, knowing commands like "sit," "turn around," "up," and "down," and she's always happy to come when called. As Ellie's dedicated guardian, Eevee is watchful and will let you know if large, energetic dogs get too close, but she thrives with gentle reassurance and lots of closeness with her people. Ellie, a regal 16-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing 33 pounds, is a graceful beauty with a heart that takes a little time to open up. Once she trusts you, she's deeply affectionate and loves quiet connection. She enjoys leisurely, sniff-filled walks, beach trips, and car rides, especially when Eevee is by her side. These two best friends share everything, from their beds to their meals of Freshpet, and they love nothing more than cozy afternoons after outdoor adventures.

Ongoing Health
Eevee has a collapsed trachea and sensitive skin that requires mindful care, including dental chews and monitoring for potential extractions. Ellie's eyes are growing cloudy with age, and she may have some hearing decline. A benign lump is monitored by her veterinarian. Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Eevee is already quite well-trained and responsive. Ellie may need a little extra time to warm up and build trust, but she is deeply affectionate once she does. Positive reinforcement and patience will be key to their success in a new home.
