Happy

Hi there! I'm Happy, and everyone says it fits me perfectly. I'm a 9-year-old pitbull with a handsome charcoal grey coat and some distinguished tan accents. I arrived as a stray, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I'm ready for a soft couch and lots of love. You might notice my adorable little wobbly walk – it gives me extra character and brings smiles wherever I go. I'm a big, smooshy marshmallow who loves leaning into people for pets, showing off my smooshy cheeks, napping, and being told I'm a good boy (which I absolutely am!).

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a cozy couch and a patient human. While I've done well with other dogs, cats, and even a teenager, I'd do great with kids as long as they understand I'm a gentleman with creaky hips and not a jungle gym.

Ongoing Health

The vet found I have LS Disease and Hip Dysplasia, so my joints need a little help staying comfortable. I'm doing well with medication and a cozy place to relax. I require a martingale collar and ongoing medication for my hip dysplasia and LS disease. All our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for heartworm or FeLeuk/FIV, fecal tested, vaccinated for rabies, and microchipped before going to their new homes.

Training & Support

I've had zero accidents in the house and use the doggy door reliably. I'm easygoing and respectful, and I've blended in seamlessly with a home that has other dogs.
