Vega

Hi there, I'm Vega, a 6-year-old, 70-pound brindle and white Boxer ready for my forever home! I'm an extremely loving, smart, and adventurous boy who enjoys playing, running, and exploring. I'm also very eager to please, especially if treats are involved. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm all set to join your family. My foster mom says I have a lot of drive, making me super fun to work with and a potential star in dog sports!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an active owner who can keep up with me and shower me with unconditional love. I'm not a couch potato, so a home that can provide plenty of exercise and adventures is a must. I need slow introductions to other dogs, and I should not be around cats or other small animals due to my high prey drive. I do well with kids, but older children are best given my size and energy level.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I can be a bit reactive in my crate and experience barrier frustration, but I'm making great progress in overcoming these behaviors. I also need more practice with leash training as I tend to pull hard; a gentle leader might be a helpful tool for learning to walk nicely.
