Masha is a stunning Alaskan Husky, about 5 years old and weighing around 55 lbs. Her captivating sky-blue eyes and noble presence make her truly unforgettable. Masha has a calm and affectionate personality, loves people, and is eager to please. She's loyal, brave, social, and affectionate, with a playful, talkative, and curious nature that makes her even more charming. She's been waiting five years for her forever family and deserves a home where she can finally experience the joys of walks, running freely, and exploring the world. Masha is more than just a dog; she's a majestic soul, a loyal companion, and a loving friend.
Ideal Home
Masha would thrive with a very active family who has experience with dogs and understands the needs of rescued animals. She does well with children and would prefer a home with other dogs, though she can be a bit territorial with dominant personalities. A family with high tolerance and patience for rescued dogs is a must.
Ongoing Health
Masha is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has also been dewormed and received one month of flea, tick, and heartworm preventative treatment.
Training & Support
Masha is not house-trained. While she walks well on a leash, she can pull when excited. She enjoys toys but can be protective of them. When bored, she may chew on inappropriate items. Like many Huskies, she enjoys howling and barking and has a stubborn streak. Prospective adopters should be prepared for an adjustment period and understand that rescued dogs may have past trauma.
