Rufus

Meet Rufus, a delightful 2-year-old, 22lb Cockapoo/Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! This fluffy charmer was found as a stray but quickly showed his true colors: joyful, clever, and incredibly affectionate. Rufus is the perfect "pick me up" size, not too big and not too small, and he absolutely adores belly rubs. He's already a pro on the leash, knows how to "sit," and is a fast learner who's eager to please. He's also crate trained and house trained when kept on a schedule. Rufus gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion, though he'd also be happy as an only dog with active humans.

Ideal Home

Rufus is an exuberant pup who is still polishing his manners. He would do best in a home with no children under the age of 10.

Rufus is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rufus is house trained when kept on a schedule and comes when called. He's very smart and eager to learn, especially with positive reinforcement.
