Hi, my name is Ned! I'm a handsome boy with a beautiful coat that looks black but shines with warm brown in the sun. My little white toes are just too cute, and I've grown into my long nose and floppy ears. I might sport a slightly grumpy expression and a distinguished goatee, but don't let that fool you – I'm a world-class snuggler! My brother Dusty and sister Lucky Day and I, "The Three Amigos," journeyed here from New Mexico. I'm a big fan of learning and am working hard to be Nifty Ned instead of Naughty Ned. I'm super smart and know "sit," "off," and "come," and I'm practicing "down," "stay," and "wait." I love chasing anything that rolls, playing tug-o-war with unstuffed toys, and sniffing out hidden treats. I'm also very social and enjoy wrestling and playing with dogs of all sizes, sometimes earning me the nickname "Jaws" for my playful nips. My foster mom calls me "Snuffles" because I love using my Snuffle Mat for meals, which helps me slow down since I'm a fast eater and drinker. I'm not a fan of the cold, but I do look dapper in cute coats!
Ideal Home
I'm a people-pleaser and love to be with my family. While a kennel during the workday is okay, I thrive when you're home to play, walk, and teach me. Sleeping in bed with you is a must, and I absolutely LOVE being on the sofa! I'm friendly with kids and would also really benefit from having another dog in the home to provide comfort, warmth, and playtime.
