Mondo

Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old, 50-55lb Australian Shepherd mix with a captivating charcoal grey coat, a white belly, and uniquely spotted legs. Don't let his age fool you; Mondo is an active and playful pup who loves to run and explore! He's up-to-date on all shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Mondo is also potty trained and crate trained, making him a well-behaved companion. He enjoys the company of other medium to large breed dogs, both male and female. While he enjoys relaxing on the couch for cuddles and movie time, Mondo is not an apartment dog and thrives with regular exercise like walks, hikes, or camping adventures. He rides well in the car and knows basic commands, and with his intelligence and agility, he's eager to learn new things!

Ideal Home

Mondo would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of regular exercise and inclusion in daily life. He can be an only dog or live with a canine companion. This active boy is not yard art and needs to be an active part of the family. He is not suited for tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Mondo knows basic commands and is eager to learn more. While he has not had issues with fence climbing in his foster home due to regular exercise, he did experience this at a previous shelter setting. He is not off-leash trained.
