Dink

Meet Dinky! He's a 15-year-young, under 20-pound, gentle senior gentleman with a big heart and a lot of love left to give. Dinky's life recently took an unexpected turn when his daddy passed away and his mommy had to move to a place where he couldn't go. He's still adjusting to his new reality and is looking for a loving place to call his own. Dinky is still intact, as he's considered too old for surgery, but he's simply enjoying his golden years. He recently had a significant dental cleaning where he lost quite a few teeth, but he still happily crunches his kibble! Dinky enjoys the company of cats and dogs of all sizes and loves a good romp if he ever slips out the door, though he always returns. He can be a little shy at first with new people, but once he trusts you, he's incredibly loyal and affectionate. He's a master at hopping onto chairs and loves to relax and observe the world. At night, he starts out at the foot of the bed before moving down to sleep beside his much larger foster brother, a standard poodle, who makes him feel safe.

Ideal Home

Dinky is dreaming of a quiet, gentle forever home where he can enjoy his retirement in peace. He adores cuddles, car rides, and being close to his people.

Ongoing Health

Dinky is intact and considered too old for surgery. He recently underwent a major dental cleaning and lost several teeth, but he can still eat kibble.

Training & Support

Dinky is not a fan of the vet, but he's a brave boy during visits.
