Mae

Meet Mae! This sweet three-year-old Pointer and Australian Cattle Dog mix is a real gem. She came to us from a high-kill shelter after being surrendered by her previous owner, but she's now safe in our no-kill shelter and dreaming of a forever home. Mae is a petite girl at 32 lbs, boasting striking black and white markings and a pair of intelligent eyes. She's calm, quiet, and can be a little shy initially, but her warm heart shines through as she quickly bonds with those who show her kindness. Mae adores being with her people and thrives on companionship. She's not a high-energy dog and is very well-socialized, getting along wonderfully with kids and other dogs her size or larger.

Ideal Home

Mae would love a home with a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor adventures. She's not a fan of small dogs or cats, so a home without them would be purr-fect.

Ongoing Health

Mae is a healthy girl with no known health concerns.

Training & Support

This smart pup is already housetrained and knows some basic commands. She walks well on a leash and has always lived indoors, so she's ready to be your indoor companion.

Transporation

Mae is located at our shelter. We permit out-of-state adoptions, but all adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship or transport pets.
