Meet Leon! This handsome adult Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever mix is a truly remarkable boy with a heart full of love to give. Leon was found blind and alone in Mexico, likely dumped and left behind. Despite this difficult start, he is a gentle, affectionate, and joyful companion who loves to play, chew on a good bone, and snuggle up on the couch. He is already learning verbal commands like a pro and adapts incredibly well to his blindness, using a doggy door with ease. Leon gets along beautifully with other dogs and lives peacefully with cats. He's currently thriving in a foster home and is ready to find his forever family who will cherish him for the resilient pup he is.

Ideal Home

Leon would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can receive plenty of affection. He gets along well with dogs and cats, and is also good with children.

Ongoing Health

Leon is blind due to trauma to both eyes. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Leon is learning verbal commands and is doing wonderfully. He adapts well to his blindness and uses a doggy door with ease.
