Meet Wimby - your new best friend!

Wimby is a 4-year-old, suspected Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix who is 100% good boy. He's the perfect blend of well-behaved, calm, and playful. He currently lives with younger children and does well with them, often enjoying a game of stuffed animal fetch followed by a nap. Wimby has also bonded deeply with his foster grandparents, who enjoy his company during his daily walks. He loves to spend time outdoors, basking in the sun and observing the world, so a fenced yard would be ideal for him. Wimby gets along well with dogs of all sizes and would also be happy as an only pet. However, he's a bit intimidated by cats and would likely do best in a home without feline companions. Wimby sees his crate as a safe space and has been crated when his foster family is away. He is house-trained and walks nicely on a leash, enjoying his neighborhood strolls.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Wimby to enjoy his sunny outdoor time. He would also be fine as an only dog or with other dogs, but would prefer a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Wimby sheds quite a bit, so regular grooming appointments will be beneficial. He is terrified of the vacuum and other loud noises.

Training & Support

Wimby is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is scared of the vacuum and loud noises, and his foster family puts him outside when vacuuming. He is good for the groomer.
