Maddie

Maddie is a sweet and affectionate 3-year-old, 56 lb Retriever/Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever home! She was rescued as a young mom and, after surviving emergency surgery that saved her and her pups, she's now looking forward to a life of her own. Maddie enjoys gentle belly rubs, having her soft blonde coat brushed, and ear scratches. She's practically house-trained and loves walks, so she'd be thrilled with a home that enjoys the outdoors. Maddie has met older children and done well with them.

Ideal Home

Maddie would thrive in a home where she can be the only dog. She enjoys napping and would be comfortable with an adopter who is away during the day.

Ongoing Health

Maddie survived emergency surgery, but is otherwise healthy and ready for her new life.

Training & Support

Maddie is a couch potato at home and enjoys naps. She is a great mommy and is ready for her own loving home.

Transporation

Maddie is currently located in South Texas and is available for local adoption. Our organization rescues pets from Texas and delivers them to adoptive families in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and other states on the East and West Coast.
