Thor Goodwin is a 2-year-old, approximately 29 lb Boston Terrier mix with a personality that's impossible to put into words until you meet him! He's a joyful, funny, and endlessly entertaining goofball who believes every day is the best day ever. Thor's happy-go-lucky nature makes every day brighter, whether he's excitedly playing fetch, showing off his toy-loving skills, or greeting you with a goofy grin and wagging tail.
Ideal Home
Thor would thrive in a family that's looking for a dog who knows how to make the most out of life. He's playful without being overwhelming and affectionate without being needy. He's already seamlessly integrated into a foster home with a 3-year-old and a 13-year-old, and has a special bond with the older child. He coexists peacefully with an older male Pug.
Ongoing Health
Thor is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Thor is eager to please and already knows how to sit. He is motivated by treats and seems genuinely excited to learn, making training fun and rewarding. While he is generally a good boy, he can sometimes jump up when excited to see people and can be a little mouthy with adults when playful. However, he is incredibly gentle with the 3-year-old in his foster home and seems to naturally understand how to approach little humans. With consistent positive reinforcement, he will continue to mature into an exceptional companion. He is comfortable relaxing in the laundry room when left alone and has not had any indoor accidents.

Transportation
Thor is currently located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide using our rescue's USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. For Texas adopters, pickup is in the Houston area.
