Meet Lacey, a delightful and petite adventure nugget with a personality as charming as her doll-like face! This approximately year-and-a-half-old, 31-pound pup, possibly a boxer/terrier mix, is the perfect blend of go-getter and snuggle bug. Lacey is incredibly well-rounded, possessing Olympic-level social skills that allow her to seamlessly fit into any situation. She's wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including playful or high-energy companions, and is surprisingly chill around cats. Her interactions with other dogs are a masterclass in diplomacy, always maintaining balance and peace. She's also absolutely smitten with people, offering gentle kisses and politely accepting treats. Lacey shines on leash and would make an enthusiastic companion for neighborhood walks, patio dates, road trips, hiking adventures, or trips to the farmers market. She's a rare find – playful yet calm, social yet respectful, adventurous yet cuddly, and confident yet gentle.
Ideal Home
Lacey can thrive with playful dog siblings or as an only dog soaking up all the attention. She's adaptable enough for apartment living with an active family who enjoys outings, but would also love a backyard to explore. While she did well with a cat during her assessment, slow introductions or a cat test are recommended. She has not yet been officially tested with children but shows great promise as a family-friendly dog.
Ongoing Health
Lacey is current on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Lacey is crate-trained and treat-motivated. She has demonstrated excellent leash manners and responds well to guidance.

Lacey is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT.
