Pander

Meet Pander!

Pander came to us as a surrender when his previous living situation was no longer the right fit for him. He did well with the child in the home who was over 12, but there was a child under 12 who was autistic that Pander and the child could not co-exist safely with. When Pander first arrived at the shelter, he was very scared, so we sent him to a foster home where he quickly showed us his true self! He is one happy boy who is always smiling. He loves pets and will nudge your hand for them, sometimes even jumping in your lap. One of his favorite things to do is look out the window; he can be entertained for hours this way. He is an easy walker, house-trained, and crate-trained. He loves to spend time sniffing in the yard but also enjoys just laying on the couch with you. His first meet with someone new might not be fireworks, but we promise Pander is all love once in a home! He is a Beagle and Rat Terrier mix, 4 years old, and neutered. He came to us a bit overweight, so to be his best, healthiest self, he should lose a few pounds. Pander can't wait for his new family!

Ideal Home

Pander cannot live with children under 12, especially those with autism.

Ongoing Health

Pander is a bit overweight and would benefit from a weight management plan to reach his healthiest weight.

Training & Support

Pander is house-trained and crate-trained. He is an easy walker.
