Princesa is a 2-year-old, 27 lb Belgian Shepherd Mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life! She's a cheerful and playful girl who absolutely adores her toys and showering her humans with affection. Princesa is very social and thrives on companionship. When exploring new places, her excitement bubbles over as she happily trots around. She's a sweet, affectionate pup radiating positive energy. Her past was a bit sad; she was abandoned as a tiny pup and spent a cold night crying until someone found her seeking refuge under a car. Thankfully, she was rescued, received veterinary care, and blossomed in a loving foster home. Now, Princesa is ready to find her forever family to continue being the joyful, playful, and affectionate dog she is!
Ideal Home
Princesa is looking for a family with the intention to truly rescue a dog, understanding that rescued animals need protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training is highly valued, as is a high tolerance and patience for a rescued pup. She is not good with cats and prefers to eat her meals without another dog approaching her food.
Ongoing Health
Princesa has received her spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, and has been dewormed and microchipped. She also tested negative for heartworm and has a 4DX test certificate. She is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. A health certificate and vaccine booklet are included. Please note that many rescue dogs are not fully house-trained.
Training & Support
Princesa barks to alert you to noises or when she wants something. As with many rescued dogs, she will need patience and understanding as she adjusts to a new environment. She is not house-trained, and adopters should be prepared to provide this training.

Transporation
Princesa is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport fees of $400.00 are the responsibility of the adopter and are paid prior to departure. Delivery will be to the adopter's home address.
