Walter

Walter is a sweet, gentle soul who is blossoming more each day! He's a quiet observer, very stoic and thoughtful. Walter hasn't barked yet, but he makes the cutest little squeaky noise when he yawns. He's been finding his confidence lately, exploring the house and even hopping on the couch when invited. He's curious about the world, and we know barks and playtime are in his future! At night, he sometimes lets out a long, low howl, but settles down when his foster stays near. He's an excellent eater with great potty manners. While he's still cautious on leash and can be nervous with new sights or sounds, he's becoming braver every day and is starting to interact with other animals. Bath time is no problem for this gentleman! He may tremble sometimes, but he's gentle, sweet, and trying so hard to trust. We're so proud of his progress!

Ideal Home

Walter is a flight risk and will need to be leashed 100% of the time for several weeks until he settles into his new home and routine. This includes in a fenced yard and inside the home.
