Sugar

Meet Sugar, a beautiful and sweet Dalmatian girl who is approximately 5 years old. Sugar came to us as a stray, found running with other dogs in Aurora, CO. She was initially quite shy and shut down but has been bravely learning to trust and enjoy human attention in her foster home. She doesn't mind children and, once she gets to know you, she enjoys pets and cuddles. While she's not very interested in toys at the moment, she enjoys observing her surroundings, often from the comfort of her crate. Sugar is still building her confidence and learning about obedience, but she is trying to signal when she needs to go outside, typically needing to go out 4-5 times a day. She has shown a preference for women but is slowly warming up to men, and we're hopeful this will continue to evolve in a new environment. Sugar is a gentle soul who appreciates slow and calm movements, and she's even been spotted watching TV with her foster family!

Ideal Home

Sugar would thrive in a home with mostly adults or older children. She would do best with one or two calm, gentle dogs.

Ongoing Health

Sugar is up to date on vaccinations, is spayed, and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Sugar is still working on confidence and obedience. She needs encouragement and coaxing to interact but is showing great progress. Gentle and slow movements will help her feel most comfortable.
