Raffi

Meet Raffi, a handsome and gentle boy looking for a patient and loving home. Raffi came to us malnourished and sick, but this beautiful boy is now thriving! He can be a bit timid with new people, but once he feels safe, his playful and sweet personality truly shines.

Raffi is a ladies' man (dog)! He prefers women and is understandably afraid of men, responding with barking. He will need a patient adopter and guidance to help him work through his anxiety. Raffi is likely to always be a bit cautious, and while he may be scared of some men, he is a very loving dog who simply needs someone to commit to him for life. Because of his fear of men, his adoption fee is only the airline charge for his flight and crate.

Ideal Home

Raffi would do best in a cooler climate, as his dark coat can get hot in warmer weather. He is social with other dogs and loves going for walks. He will need an adopter who is patient and willing to help him work through his anxiety and fear of men.

Raffi is a survivor and is now healthy and thriving.

Training & Support

Raffi is fearful of men and will need consistent training and positive reinforcement to help him build confidence. He is playful once he trusts you.

Transporation

Raffi is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Transportation to the US and Canada is available, often via flight companions. In summer months, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at the border.
