Scotty is a sweet, resilient boy who was found on Scott Avenue in Morgantown, WV. He is estimated to be 5-6 years old, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. Scotty's favorite things include walks, outdoor adventures, car rides, and exploring new places. He's motivated by experiences and spending quality time with his people rather than treats. Scotty is affectionate, playful, and loves to cuddle, often described as an 80-pound lap dog! He thrives on companionship and would do best with an owner who has a flexible schedule and can be home more often.
Ideal Home
Scotty would love a family to share life with and would prefer an owner(s) with a more flexible schedule. A fenced-in yard would be a huge bonus. He is not a good fit for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Scotty experiences some separation anxiety and is currently taking anxiety supplements, which have been helping him settle in.
Training & Support
A consistent routine, patience, and understanding owners will go a long way in helping Scotty continue to thrive. He is currently living in a foster home with another dog and doing very well; he would also be wonderful as the only dog. If you already have a dog, a meet-and-greet will be required.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Adult dogs over 1 year: $225.00, includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, and microchip.
- Any animal already in your home must be spayed/neutered.
- If you are unable to keep Scotty, he must be returned to us.
Transporation
Scotty is currently being fostered in Morgantown, WV. We adopt out of state to approved applicants who are willing to drive to WV to pick up their pet. We do not fly or use transport companies.
