Darcy

Hi, I’m Darcy, a approximately 4-year-old Whippet mix who weighs 40 lbs. I may have had a tough beginning on a dog meat farm in South Korea, but my heart has healed, and I've learned what love feels like. With the help of some kind trainers, I've come a long way and am now ready to share my sweetness with my very own person!

At first, I can be a little shy and cautious, but once I trust you, my playful, happy, and zoomie-filled personality shines through. I love to run, learn, and nothing makes me happier than knowing I've made you smile. I was even a Dog of the Month!

Ideal Home

I think I'd be happiest as your one-and-only furry friend, as other dogs aren’t quite my cup of tea. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful for me, along with a patient person who'll keep helping me grow braver and more confident every day. I am not recommended for homes with children.

Ongoing Health

I may have a few little scars from my past, but my spirit is bright and I am ready for a healthy and happy life.

Training & Support

I can be a little shy and cautious at first, but with patience and love, my true sweet and devoted nature will emerge. I love to learn, so continuing to help me grow in confidence will be a rewarding experience.
