Nell is a charming 5-year-old, 58-pound Pitbull mix with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging. He found himself at risk of euthanasia in a Houston county shelter after being found tied up in a backyard. Thankfully, a loving foster home opened their doors, and Nell has blossomed into the most wonderful companion! He's an easygoing boy who enjoys a good playtime session but is equally happy to cuddle up with his favorite people. Nell is a social butterfly, getting along famously with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, though he doesn't require a canine sibling to be content. He adores people and has been wonderful with children, greeting everyone with a friendly wag. Nell is house-trained and has perfect crate manners, sleeping soundly through the night and tolerating being crated for several hours. He's also a dream in the car, riding quietly on trips.
Ideal Home
Nell would thrive in almost any loving home, whether it's with a family, a couple, or a single adopter. He'd be happy as an only dog or with canine siblings. He's adaptable to both active weekends and cozy afternoons.
Ongoing Health
Nell is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Nell is a strong boy on leash and would benefit from continued leash training. Otherwise, he's an incredibly easy dog to live with, smart, playful, affectionate, and always ready for attention.
