Amari

Meet Amari, a 3-year-old, 44-pound female Pitbull terrier with a personality as vibrant as her famous "butt-scratching dance." Amari has been with us longer than we'd like and is eagerly awaiting her chance to shine in a loving home. She's an affectionate and easygoing companion who thrives on snuggles and being by your side. Amari knows her basic commands and walks well on a leash, making her a joy to accompany on adventures.

Ideal Home

Amari would thrive in a home with an active family or individual who can provide her with plenty of opportunities to burn off her boundless energy. A yard would be a wonderful asset for her to play in. Due to her unknown history, we are unsure how she would do with children or other animals, so a home ready to introduce her slowly and thoughtfully would be ideal.

Amari is a healthy girl with no known ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

Amari has mastered her basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. While her history is unknown, her friendly and sociable demeanor with staff suggests a great capacity for learning and bonding.
