Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping

Meet Bella, a sweet and spirited 1-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing around 55lbs. Bella's journey began sadly; she was found tied to a post, abandoned by her family. Despite this, she has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, and wonderfully spirited girl, eager for a family to call her own.

Ideal Home

Bella is looking for an active home with someone who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust. She'll thrive with continued training, daily exercise, and someone who appreciates a smart, goofy, and affectionate Shepherd. Because she views cats as chaseable, she currently lives in a separate room and sleeps in her crate.

Ongoing Health

Bella is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bella is housetrained and crate-trained, taking her treats and toys to her crate with pride. She walks nicely on a harness and knows "sit" and "stay." She's learning not to jump, as she gets excited. She may chew things when bored, so she'll do best with structure, plenty of toys, and activity. Her absolute favorite is a frozen peanut butter Kong.
