Philip

Meet Phillip, a 50-pound Staffy mix who is a master of toy-flinging and a champion at bath time! Phillip is a big-hearted pup who can be a little shy at first, but he's gaining confidence every day. He's working on his leash manners and enjoys a good snuggle after playtime. Phillip is friendly with other dogs, both big and small, and does well with men and women. He's still learning that hands are for petting, not for scaring, but with patience and love, he's realizing they can be kind.

Ideal Home

Phillip has a moderate to high energy level and needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. He would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of playtime, puzzle toys, and leisurely walks. Given his past experiences, a home with children 10 years and older is recommended to ensure the best fit for everyone.

Ongoing Health

Phillip is a healthy boy with no ongoing health concerns mentioned.

Training & Support

Phillip is crate-trained and doesn't dig. He's working on his enthusiasm around treats and has good recall when he's not too excited. He also needs supervised play with his chew toys. A home that understands he's a work in progress and offers love and patience will help him become a confident companion.

Transporation

Phillip is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week.
