JOSIE

Meet Josie! This sweet, 3-year-old, 35lb pittie mix is our most overlooked girl, and it's a real shame because she has the most loving, loyal, and fun personality. Josie is patiently waiting for her forever adventure buddy and couch potato companion. She's housebroken and crate-trained, and knows "sit" and "crate" very well. She's also working on "drop it," "give," "leave it," and "come." Josie is an excellent walking buddy, but will benefit from continued leash and command work. She also needs some refinement on her greeting style, as she can get a bit overly excited and jump.

Ideal Home

Josie needs to be the only pet in the home. She would do best with kids 13 and older, as her enthusiastic greetings could potentially knock over younger children. A fenced yard is preferred, though a home in an apartment might be considered if there's a solid plan in place. She's looking for an active human or humans who also enjoy relaxing on the couch and are committed to continuing her training.
