Robin is a resilient 3-year-old male who has overcome incredible odds and deserves the best forever home. Two years ago, this brave boy was on the euthanasia list due to a severe injury after getting caught in a kennel door. We saved his leg, and although it's permanently deformed, it doesn’t slow him down one bit!
Robin has a pawsitively infectious zest for life! Weighing about 47 pounds, he is most likely a mix of Carolina dog, Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, and maybe even some Kelpie. With that DNA and his resilient spirit, Robin truly is a super mutt! He is potty and crate trained and understands basic commands. He is also a saint in a crate. Robin is great with other dogs and kids and loves being around humans of all ages. He walks well on a leash and loves exploring the world with you. He’s a resilient, loving, and spirited dog who’s ready to fill your home with joy and companionship.
Ideal Home
Robin thrives in an environment where he can continue to be social and active. He enjoys the company of other dogs and children and is comfortable with humans of all ages.
Ongoing Health
Robin's left hind leg is permanently deformed due to a past injury. While this does not hinder his mobility or quality of life, it's a condition to be aware of.
Training & Support
Robin is already potty and crate trained and knows basic commands. He walks well on a leash, and his foster family reports he is a "saint in a crate."
