Hi, I'm Penny! I'm a delightful and energetic approximately 6-month-old pup weighing about 25lbs, who was found wandering and looking for my forever home. My foster family says I'm a great dog with a lot of love to give, and with a little patience and training, I could be your best friend! I'm very food-motivated, which will be a big help as I'm working on commands like "sit." I love everyone I meet and just want to play! I do enjoy a good chew, but I'm mostly focused on my toys, though the occasional stick can be tempting. I'm crate-trained and doing wonderfully with regular potty breaks. Fetch is one of my favorite games, and I'm learning to "bring it back." I also have a big love for water! I get along great with another dog in my foster home who enjoys playtime just as much as I do, and I also like having a routine, which should make training even easier.

Ideal Home

I need a home with a fenced yard and someone who can let me out regularly, or a doggy door. I also do well with an age-appropriate canine companion. While I'm curious about cats, I tend to keep my distance from them.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee covers all my vetting, including spay surgery, vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, and a microchip.

Training & Support

I'm working on commands like "sit" and "bring it back" during fetch. I'm learning to focus my chewing on my toys.
